“In the business environment, challenges, decisions, problems and opportunities come in from all directions, simultaneously. By learning how to listen and receive the information, a business owner will be better equipped to address and resolve the issues without losing time, money, or focus.”
| Organizational Assessment |
Successful organizations are continually looking for ways and areas to improve in order to gain a competitive advantage. Two critical questions that are often asked by senior management are: how do we know that resources are being properly allocated, and how can we better utilize our limited resources? These questions moved us to examine the whole of what are the critical elements which contribute to organizational success. As a result of this examination, we discovered that when an organization’s systems and departments are aligned, the greater their success.
If an organization’s structure does not support its strategy, the organization is out of alignment and the strategy will probably not be achieved. Organizations that learn to identify new relationships between what they do and the results they seek can further increase the gap between themselves and their competitors.
How to get started:
First, senior management must determine there is a need for data in order to better understand their organization. Second, they must be committed to using this data to better allocate their resources to improve results. After this determination is made an approach can be developed to gather the data from the organization.

“The 10-week course helped me look at, and change behaviors and beliefs that were holding me back—keeping me from achieving my full potential.”
“Having an extremely busy schedule this semester, I know that a common excuse from college students will probably be, “I don’t have time for this.” But somehow I forced myself to make time for this training program, even though I’m carrying more than the maximum number of credits allowed, and I don’t regret my decision to stick with this program, not for a moment. I learned skills and gained confidence through this training that I will carry with me for a lifetime.” |

The best way to predict the future is to create it! Planning for Results is a process that determines the future of the organization and what organizational resources will be needed to ensure that success. The process helps determine business opportunities and resources that are required to convert opportunity into success.
Business owners and leaders today have found that developing a strategy and an implementation plan is far more effective than leaving the future to chance. Furthermore, developing a strategy, a vision, a mission, and a specific plan of action contributes to long-term, sustainable success. If implemented correctly, it will create higher levels of motivation, commitment, and fuel continuously higher levels of achievement from everyone within the organization.
On the professional side we will ask you to evaluate yourself and set goals in how you manage people, how you manage time, and what it means for you to be personally productive in your position, and not just busy. Far too many people confuse motion with progress and activity with results.
On the personal side, we suggest you take a look at six areas—financial, physical, career development, family life, mental self-development, social life, and ethical/spiritual development. The whole idea is that as you become even more competent professionally, the organization should get even better results. In turn, that gives the organization the money to increase compensation, benefits, promotion opportunities, etc.
As your personal compensation is increasing, you have the financial wherewithal to satisfy more and more of your personal goals and objectives. As you're satisfying more and more of your personal goals and objectives, what happens to your commitment to become even better professionally? It's that simple, but that's why it works.
