“With an emphasis on showing me how to listen and receive information before responding, this program is an extraordinary tool for communication on all levels.  After just three sessions, I was able to apply this training to all aspects of my life—professionally, as a consultant and trainer, and personally as a mother and Girl Scout leader.”

“In addition to being one of the most validating experiences of my lifetime, playing ‘Conversations’ has stretched my ‘listening muscles’ and taught me to be more introspective.  I have used these skills to validate and challenge my clients and my students.  I recommend ‘Conversations’ to everyone, no matter their level of listening or communication skill.”

“I have spent many interesting hours playing the ‘Conversations’ game.  Each game is unique and different, and has brought me into contact with some fascinating and diverse people.”

“I believe that ‘Conversations’ is a wonderful tool for any organization to assist to develop a better understanding of each other, themselves, and assisting in the process of integrating new team members.  We came away a much stronger team, and many members had developed higher levels of respect for individual team members.  Thank you for introducing us to such an interesting and inspirational game.”

‘Conversations’ with Friends

“Excellent adult conversations taken to a deeper level... The most valuable... The power of listening... Stay open through the process and allow yourself to be vulnerable.”

“Thought-provoking... Interesting... Opening up communication... Come with an open mind and willingness to open up and learn”

“The first thing I learned was about me—even though I am a coach and listening is the main part of my job, I still found it a challenge not to respond, or at least think in responses to the comments that were made.  The second thing I learned was more of a reinforcement of what I already knew—that we are all connected—it is just being more aware of that fact that enlightens us to more opportunities.”

‘Conversations’ invites people to share individual insights and to listen openly to those of others.  It is through the sharing of our stories and experiences that we discover more about ourselves.

‘Conversations’ is a board game with three stacks of cards and a booklet of instructions on how to play.  When you open the box you create a unique experience for your friends and family.

The game is broken up into three cycles, each cycle building upon the previous one.  The first cycle depicts different aspects of life including education, family & friends or career.  The second cycle looks at how this aspect fits into your life and how that situation faces you now.  Finally, the third cycle moves the conversation to a higher perspective by moving past any initial limitations.

People who played often say that they:

  • Learned to be open with others
  • Were able to truly listen
  • Started thinking more laterally
  • Recognized that others have similar personal aspects
  • Understood that everybody has issues that someone else will always relate to

‘Conversations’ is designed to be played by two or more people when open communication is desired.  On a practical level, the game can be played with more than eight people, but then a facilitator is strongly recommended to ensure that everyone is accommodated.  A Facilitator's Training Program is available for large groups including study groups and business seminars.
